Designer and founder Stuart May is the third generation of kitchen designers and builders. With over ten years experience as a cabinet maker he has now stepped out on his own to focus on the design aspect with a importance placed on high quality products and modern technology. Stuart's passion for kitchens is unmatched and his enthusiasm for every project, no matter how big or small, provides the client with a customer service experience that is second to none.
The May family have over fifty years experience in kitchen design, construction and installation within the Brisbane area. Stuart's Grandfather Bill May Sr founded the company MayCo Kitchens which grew to be a leading manufacturer of kitchens within the Brisbane area in the 1960's and 1970's. With a workshop based out of Nundah, MayCo supplied kitchens for a number of Brisbane's major building projects during this boom period. Bill's son, Bill May is a fitter and turner by trade but after some time in the workforce decided the family business was where he'd rather be, and jumped back in to the industry he grew up with that still fascinates him. Bill picked up where his father left off, starting his own business, MAYCUT , in the early 2000's and growing it to be a leading kitchen manufacturer within the Greater Brisbane area. Stuart began working for his father at MayCut not long after it began operating and has worked alongside Bill to grow it to reach the strong position where he is now, Creator and Designer of Style KbD.
The Style - MayCut workshop is now situated at Brendale. . The family history within the industry is something that both Stuart and Bill are proud of and their collective experience and passion is key to the high quality finished product and ultimately the success of Style.
Style - Kitchens By Design have a team of designers with creative flair and a wealth of experience in designing architectural kitchens. They have designed our Showroom at Nundah. They will work hand in hand with our clients to help them piece together their dream kitchen.
